June 30:

4:30 PM – Voyageur Park in Devon, Arrival and “People in Boats” *

July 1:

7:00 – 8:30 a.m. –  Devon Lions Campground,  Devon – Pancake Breakfast plus departure, Big CANOES & the smaller tandem canoes & kayaks.            

9:30 – 10:00 a.m. – Terwilliger Park Foot Bridge,  Edmonton

10:00 – 10:20 a.m. – Oleskiw – Ft. Edmonton Foot Bridge

10:30 – 11:00 a.m. – Ft. Edmonton Park, along the river side trail

11: 15 – 11:45 p.m. – White Mud/ Laurier Parks – boat launch

12: 30 – 12:15 p.m. – Louise McKinney Park / Rafters Landing in downtown Edmonton

1:00 – 1:15 p.m. – Capilano / 50 St Park and boat launch

1:30 – 1:45 p.m. – Rundle / Gold Bar Park Foot Bridge

4:15 – 5: 30 p.m. – Red Coat Landing, Ft Saskatchewan, arrival ceremony and “People in Boats”

 

July 2:

8:00 – 8:30 p.m. – departure from Red Coat Landing, Ft. Saskatchewan

3:00 – 3:30 p.m. – Warspite Landing – along Victoria Tr. between Hwys # 831 & 855

4:30 – 5:30 p.m. – Metis Crossing Campground (Hwy 855 south of Smoky Lake) – arrival ceremony & “People in Boats”

 

July 3:

11:30 – 12:30 p.m. – Victoria Settlement – arrival ceremony & “People in Boats” *

 

Notes:        June 30 to July 3 is  a brigade of 8-10 big fur trade style canoes, our Canada Day Paddle (Devon to Ft. Edmonton) and Metis Crossing Paddle & Campout (Warspite Ferry Landing to Metis Crossing to Victoria Settlement) is for tandem canoes and kayaks.

Arrival Ceremonies are FREE to the public

*People in Boats” is an opportunity for arrival ceremony spectators to give the Big CANOES a short try with experienced guides in the bow and stern seats.
