La Loche Voyageur Rendezvous | 2012

Perfect paddling conditions! Hot and only a light breeze!

After 19 km lunch was had at the old Mission, some of us ate in the former convenat here.

At this rest afternoon break most of Priscilla’s crew abonded ship/canoe… for a swim in the lake… most of us… just replenished fluids.

Arrival at Lac la Biche.

MacArthure Place… the county building where we gathered after the paddle for icecream, supper after the shuttle, and the Ceyana Crew left before the evening party started.

Our crew at the start: White Sands Resort north and east of Plamondon, Alberta

Seven canoes participated, including the Haskin Montreal Canoe with by far the most paddlers. Probably over 80 paddlers altogether paddled the nearly 33 km to the town of Lac la Biche.
